Rajasthan Touch Rugby Association (RTRA) is a non-governmental independent governing body affiliated with Touch Rugby india (TRI) Touch Rugby india is affiliated with Federation International Touch (FIT).
Rajasthan Touch Rugby Association (RTRA) is the official body to promote and organize Touch Rugby across the state. It was officially established in 2025 with the election of the association which has a total of 18 members who are all experts in their respective fields and have a strong hold in their field. Our goal is to promote this sport at the grassroots level through training, tournaments and youth participation. Focusing on teamwork, discipline and opportunity, we are building a strong Touch Rugby culture in Rajasthan. Although Touch Rugby is a very old sport in India, it has been officially implemented now. In fact, learning any format of rugby starts with Touch Rugby. For this reason, this game has now become independent and has taken its own government form. This game is played on a large scale at the world level. From 1999 to 2024, 7 world cups have been organized in this game. The next world cup is in 2028. If we talk about its level, then this game is new in India and Rajasthan and other states and districts but the future of this game is secure.
The aim of the Rajasthan Touch Rugby association is to return the childhood of the children and youth of India once again by taking them out of this modern electronic world and connecting them to the playgrounds, and to keep them connected to the playgrounds, away from the addiction of mobile and social media, and away from the real world.
